Area youngsters are invited to “wonder how to wander” at a free vacation Bible school hosted by the First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson July 20-24.
The curriculum for “Around the World with Paul” is created, led and presented by five high school Youth-in-Training (YIT) members.
The program begins each evening with a free meal for children and families at 5:45 pm. After supper, the children will open with songs that lead in to fast-paced activities completed within small multi-age groups directed by a YIT member and adult volunteers. The program concludes at 8 pm.
The program is open to children who are 3 years old (and reliably toilet-trained) through fifth grade. Older students are welcome to volunteer as helpers.
“Not all wanderers are lost. Paul definitely ‘wandered,’ guided by the Holy Spirit, to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles. Join us as we wonder how to wander, led by the Holy Spirit,” a spokesperson said.
